Hey guys, now we will tell you about West Java. West Java (Indonesian: Jawa Barat) is a province of Indonesia. It is located in the western part of the island of Java and its capital and largest urban center is Bandung. The province's population is 46.3 million (in 2014) and it is the most populous and most densely populated of Indonesia's provinces.The central areas of Bogor, a city in West Java, has one of the highest population density worldwide, while Bekasi and Depok are respectively the 7th and 10th most populated suburbs in the world (Tangerang in adjacent Banten Province is the 9th); in 2014 Bekasi had 2,510,951 and Depok 1,869,681 inhabitants.  

Tourism Site

West java have some of tourism site. There are Kebun Raya Bogor, Istana Presiden Bogor, Museum Zoologi, Taman safari Indonesia, waduk Jatiluhur, Kawah Gunung Tangkuban Perahu, Pangandaran,Cikepuh, Pelabuhan Ratu,Keraton Kasepuhan Cirebon, Keraton Kanoman Cirebon, Keraton Kacirebonan Cirebon, Makam Sunan Gunung ati Cirebon.

Now, I will explain about Tangkuban perahu in West Java. Tangkuban Perahu (spelt Tangkuban Parahu in the local Sundanese dialect) is a dormant volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It last erupted in 1826, 1829, 1842, 1846, 1896, 1910, 1926, 1929, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1983. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface.^[2] This stratovolcano is on the island of Java and last erupted in 1983. Together with Mount Burangrang and Bukit Tunggul, those are remnants of the ancient Mount Sunda after the plinian eruption caused the Caldera to collapse.

Traditional Dances

West java have some of traditional dances , such as Tari Topeng Kuncaran, Tari Merak, Tari Jaipo and tari seimpi . Serimpi dance is a type of dance performed by four daughters , each of which claims the title of ar , fire , wind , and earth / ground . They symbolize the process of humans also symbolize the four directions of the compass.

Traditional House

West Java have only one of traditional house , named Joglo. Simply  , there is a special section in Joglo is a pavilion , Sentong , courtiers , and pawon . The pavilion is the living room or the main room which is used to receive guests . Sentong means the room , there are usually three . While the palace is a gathering place for families . Meanwhile , pawon means kitchen , whose function is also not much different from the kitchen in general.

Traditonal Weapon

 

Their traditional weapon is Keris. Just as Central Java , kris also a traditional weapon of Yogyakarta . Keris is a dagger stabbing weapon classes (sharp pointed and sharp on both sides). The shape is distinctive and easily distinguishable from other weapons ,because it is not symmetrical in part pagkal dilated.

Traditonal Costume

Men : To a man wearing a black cloth pants . Are complementary belt and headband with the same motif with cloth armor and use ordinary slippers sandals . Women : As for women , generally using a variety of jewelry such as gold or silver glass original . For clothes wearing dipadan kebaya batik cloth.

Traditional Music Instrument
